Development of digital culture – entrepreneurship in disruptively new areas

The local contribution to national strategies can be significant when Entrepreneurial Discovery Process is needed for Smart Specialisation Strategies and for the related operational programmes of EU support. Consequently, EPIX DIH actively participates in European networks that can bring practical knowledge and up-to-date information to local people younger and older alike.

Ecosystem support – building trust for digitalisation of traditional industries

Several business support organisations in the area of Szeged are natural partners in the eco-system supporting activities of EPIX DIH. The Europe Enterprise Network – which has its local representative inside the organisation of the local Chambers of Commerce and Industry – is especially among them because EEN can contribute to EPIX DIH by organisations of international brokerage events locally as well as by internationalisation actions that can complement well the actions of support for digitalisation by the EPIX DIH partners.

Industry 5.0 tools for advanced manufacturing

The pilot phase of Industry 5.0 Community of Practice resulted in adoption of two deliverables: a) analysis defining challenges and drivers of Industry 5.0 as a transformative agenda for industrial R&I in the context of ongoing twin (green and digital) transition; and b) prototype Industry 5.0 learning and assessment tool to help organisations, and in particular companies, to better understand interlinkages between the three pillars of human-centricity, sustainability and resilience and provide inspiration for transforming their organisational models during the process of ongoing green and digital transition.
